A really popular ginger, Assam Orange is a form of densifolium. One of the hardiest gingers for the UK, it forms 90cm stems topped by orange flower spikes about 10cm long in August/September. In colder parts of the UK, best to mulch in the winter for added protection. A very tropical looking plant.
