Campsis radicans Flava is a rare yellow variety of the Trumpet Vine, It is just as hardy as the orange/red form. Some years they get cut back more than others by late spring frosts in colder areas but given the protection of a warm house wall they are reliably hardy. The foliage is very attractive with large pinnate frondy leaves which contrast well with the rich gold yellow flowers of Flava.
