This fast growing tropical perennial vine has palmate leaves and large, showy white to lavender flowers turning a deeper pink colour with age. A native of Africa and Asia it has become a noxious weed in introduced tropical areas like the USA and Australia. Well worth a try though as a conservatory annual or bedding outside in a warm sheltered location for the summer after an early season seed sowing.
