From Central and South America, the yellow fruited variety of the Tamirillo. Great as a foliage plant in a jungle garden too, with large purple tinged heart shaped leaves on plants up to 5ft tall in the first year from an early sowing. Needs to be overwintered frost free, and will usually fruit in the 2nd year.
