From Mexico, a rarely available species of tree dahlia, growing to over 3m tall in its native habitat. Our plants are 2m+ and start flowering in July if protected over winter (much earlier than most tree dahlias), continuing through to the first frosts. If planted outside, best to mulch in all but the most mild areas.
