Seen in Spain and southern France Campsis radicans runs amok over roof tops and trellises. It is surprisingly hardy. The foliage is very attractive with large pinnate frondy leaves which contrast well with the rich orange red flowers held in trumpet clusters during late summer and autumn. For a permanent tropical looking vine this has to be the best one to choose.
