Allium aflatunense is a late spring perennial flowering bulb with strap shaped pale green leaves appearing soon after the last frost. The globe shaped flowers are about 7 cm across, composed of dense tiny lilac florets on a strong single stem held well above the leaves. Height 90 cm. Spread 15 cm. Best in a well drained soil with full sun. Once established they will spread making quite a show in late spring to early summer.
