Globba schomburgkii is easy to grow, reaching 90cm tall in dappled or light shade, although it can take a fair amount of direct sun. It produces a prolific amount of "bulbils" which can also be sprouted and grown on to mature plants. It tends to go dormant in winter so a frost free greenhouse or conservatory will suit it.
