Globba schomburgkii is easy to grow and commonly available growing to 3 ft. tall in dappled or light shade, bit it can take a fair amount of direct sun. It produces a prolific amount "bulbils" which can also be sprouted and grown on to mature plants. It tends to go dormant in winter so a frost free greenhouse or conservatory will suit it. As it tolerates low light it can be used as a novelty house plant.
