Persicaria orientalis is an unusual giant annual and a relative of our native bistort, growing to around 7ft tall in ideal conditions From September onwards the curving fishing rod stems are spectacularly draped in long pink tassels. Becoming more popular recently but still rarely seen. Will need stratification to germinate.
