Pepper plant from India and Sri Lanka from which peppercorns are produced. Best grown in a conservatory/heated greenhouse as a climbing vine – requires hot humid conditions in summer in bright light but out of direct sunlight. Cut back on watering in the winter months and keep above 15C.
