From the Maluti mountains in Lesotho, this Aloe forms stunning symmetrical spirals as it ages. It is relatively quick growing and well suited to growing in the UK if given the right conditions. It must have good drainage with the roots having plenty of air. It enjoys lots of water and feed in the summer months when larger and can withstand temperatures below -10C in the winter if correctly positioned. Grows relatively quickly from seed. Best to overwinter under cover when small.
