From Southeast Asia, this giant and rather strange Amorphophallus can grow to over 2m tall. It produces a single stalk with a single umbrella like leaf which is divided into many small leaflets giving the appearance of a small tree. The weird looking maroon coloured flowers can reach over 30cms across and have the traditional foul odour to attract pollinating insects. Not hardy, so will need to be kept frost free during the winter months.
