Musa Burmese Blue is a wild banana growing in northern Thailand to about 12ft. It is a seeded species with the fruit taking on a bluish purple colour. Apparently edible if cooked, assuming of course that you can get it to fruit in the UK! Unlikley to be hardy in the UK other than in mild areas but quite cold tolerant.
