A fast growing tropical vine to over 15 metres in its native habitat with large leaves and purple flowers in huge clusters. Mucuna Pruriens produces 8cm velvety pods filled with marbled beans. The plant is also used for its rare medicinal properties and forms the basis of over 200 formulations.
