Helianthus Craven Strain, a huge, heavy 10cm diameter stemmed sunflower with large very heavy flower heads around 45cm across and big leaves, capable of achieving 6m or more with a rich soil and an early sowing. The original seed source came from a 7.5m record height sunflower. They need an early start and a long growing season to develop their full potential and some support will be needed in early autumn as windy conditions set in.
