This hybrid of T. fortunei was previously though to be T. Takil but now believed to be a hardier more robust form of fortunei introduced to a town called Naini Tal in India from China in the last century. Naini Tal has fuller leaves with more leaflets making it a handsome palm for the UK - hardy just about anywhere..
