Bismarckia nobilis is a massive tropical palm and simply stunning with its startling silver blue foliage. It may reach an ultimate height of 15-18m with a spread of 6m in the tropics but even young specimens that have yet to form a trunk sport full impressive crowns. The huge palmate leaves are a bright light blue, waxy and can reach 3m across. Worth a try as a large conservatory plant for a heated conservatory or greenhouse.
