One of the the most elegant of the Trachycarpus, this form of martianus is from the Himalayas. It has slightly smaller leaves than the Khasia Hills form, and should be a bit more hardy as it grows at higher altitudes. Provide winter protection when small. Best grown in a sheltered spot.
